Snowflake part 2
There are still a few more events and highlights that I just can't forget to mention.

My friend Lori has such a cute house, and my kids were so interested in the animals adorning the walls. However, after looking at this one they wanted to know "Where is the butt?"
Connor's favorite memory is the neighbors puppies that would wander up to Lori's property. He would just yell out the door "PUPPIES, PUPPIES!" When he saw these pictures when we got home he said "I can't even look at the pictures, it make me sad because I miss the puppies too much!"
Awww, sweet puppies. It's the only thing that could keep Dylan away from the crawdad pond.
Little Addy was a big fan too.
Usually we go to Alpine in the summer and take a picture next to the sunflowers. Luckily they had sunflowers all over Snowflake so we could still get the traditional vacation picture.
This is rarely seen footage of a teenager smiling on vacation. Believe it or not, when we got home he even told me it was a fun trip!!!! GET OUT!!!!!!
Dylan stringing up some balogna for another crawdad fishing experiment.
We also fed bread to the ducks. Well, maybe just Connor did, he was kind of a bread hog.
We put wildflowers in the beauties hair.
Connor enjoyed fishing from his own personal island.
And what kid doesn't love sloshing around in the mud?
What will the little princess do with swamp feet?
And we couldn't finish up without mentioning what a great hostess & cook Lori is. She made so many yummy things to eat like the personal pizzas below. Ashley made a smiley face with sausage & pineapple. We also had flat enchiladas and cookie ice cream sandwiches and fried rice, and egg rolls. Good stuff. I will definitely be stealing some recipes.

Great memories. This is a great way to document them. I love the flowers in Ashley's hair.
Did Dylan do okay with the puppies?
What a fun trip, I want to go next time!
I'm so glad you guys came to visit. We had so much fun with you all and I'm glad it was a good trip, even if it's not Alpine. That's one of my favorite places too. Let's do it again soon:)
Okay!! I am loving the background you have right now and the background music!! I am a big fan. Great pictures too. Your kids are so photogenic and cute...dimples everywhere. Next time make sure and invite me!
Looks like great fun, and I'm impressed with the boy genius and his cube! We just got back from Alpine tonight and guess what the biggest thrill of the trip was? You guessed it--crawdad catchin! Seems like those things are EVERYWHERE in great abundance! Glad you and the kids are having some great times together!
pretty hair flowers addy!!! i also want to know where the booty is. its a dang good question.
what a fun vcation indeed! those puppies are so cute and you can totally tell Connor is in love. I like Addy's flower braid. That pizza looks yummy! Good documentation of all the funny stuff, that's hilarious! I'm glad you caught that smile on camera, woo hoo!
I'm a dork who didn't know you were updating your blog b/c my page always said the book on the wall post was your most recent. Well, today I thought about how unusual it was that you hadn't posted, so I decided to check. The stories about your kids were cracking me up. "Where's the butt?" Haha. The crawdads remind me of one particular adventure I had with Jed. We took the canoe out on my parent's lake soon after they had moved in and much of the shore was still dirt. When it rained, a lot of dirt would be washed into the lake and make big mud piles. You might remember that. Well, we took the canoe over to one of those mud piles and began squishing our feet into the mud. Then Jed noticed something in the mud, "Like a tube or a big crayon or something," and reached down to fish it out. When he pulled out a crawdad, he freaked!! Haha. Those were the days.
