Last weekend Jason & I took his mom to a play at the Hale Theatre for her birthday. They did a really good job, and even Jason, who is not a theatre enthusiast, enjoyed it, although he did say it was a little long (2-1/2 hours). I love the Hale Theatre, it is small enough that the traffic isn't bad, there are no bad seats and the tickets are cheap so you can actually go. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to do something besides dinner & a movie. (Although Joe's BBQ is right across the street so we usually eat there first) It is a remake of the old movie, and while it isn't quite as good as the movie they still did a really good job at making it very suspenseful, and the woman who has to pretend to be blind was VERY impressive. It is only there through this weekend so if you have got the time you should totally go. I think the next productions are "Camelot" & then "A Christmas Carol". And then the childrens theatre is doing Cinderella every Saturday morning until the end of November, Ashley & I are going on Nov. 22nd or something right before Thanksgiving with some of our neighbors, so it will be a great time. So there, now you have something fun to do!

I've always wondered about that place. Good to know. Too bad Chad works every weekend of our lives. is it only on weekends?
Yes, I think it is a Thursday, Friday, Saturday thing. The childrens things are Saturday morning at 11:00? Does that help?
I'm so glad you had a good time!
cool! Thanks Wonnie, we will totally go. Glad you guys had fun. Sounds like we'll have a life when we move there. We basically sit at home all day, we're so boring. Thanks again realtor Wonnie, you rock!
It's fun to do something besides dinner and a movie huh? I'll have to keep that place in mind.
