Cookie Buns?

So, Connor has this affinity for eating only the "stuff" in the Oreos. As you can see here, he leaves the remains behind.

Anywho, late tonight Julee & I are in my stamp room trying to make some wedding tennis shoes for her sister and Connor will not go to bed, as usual. I am doing my best to ignore him into submission but he keeps running back & forth. He's telling me that there is a cricket and then he says that he threw some "cookie buns" at it, and that it is sitting on them. We are sitting there trying to figure out what cookie buns are when he says "you know, the cookie buns that are left after I eat the stuff out of them." Apparently he thinks that Oreos are some kind of cookie hamburger.

So we are laughing our heads off at what a funny boy he is when he walks in and says "Look mom, I caught it" And he is holding the cricket by it's hind legs. Both of us just about jumped out of our chairs while I begged him to just go flush it down the toilet. Good times, good times.
